🔸The UK maritime operations company reported that another oil tanker was targeted in the Strait of Hormuz and said that two of its crew members were wounded superficially as a result of the attack.

🔸The company said in a statement on Monday, 30 Shahrivar, that the tanker was struck by an unidentified projectile in the Strait of Hormuz as it was entering the Persian Gulf. The incident caused no environmental damage, and it has been reported that the tanker is proceeding under its own power to the next port.

🔸Meanwhile, the security company Vanguard said the targeted tanker was named “La Stephanie” and was sailing under the British flag.

🔸In recent days, the Islamic Republic’s military forces have claimed attacks on several commercial vessels in the Strait of Hormuz that were moving via a route close to Oman.

🔸Both Iran and the United States claim control of the Strait of Hormuz, which before the recent war was the route for nearly 20% of the world’s energy.

🔸Mohammad-Baqer Qalibaf, the speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, on 29 Shahrivar said that Iran’s conditions must be met by the United States; otherwise, there would be no “opening” for the Strait of Hormuz.
