The United Arab Emirates has again banned the entry of various Iranian vessels, including ships and dhows, into its ports and marinas.

The new order prohibiting the entry of Iranian vessels has been communicated to the officials of the ports and marinas of the UAE cities starting from Friday, 9 Mordad.

Based on this information, Iranian vessels that were present at UAE ports at the time the order was issued were also required to leave the country, and the last vessels left the UAE ports at the latest by Monday, 12 Mordad.

So far, UAE officials have not provided any explanation for the reason behind this decision or the likely time for lifting the ban.

This is the second time since the start of the war between Israel and the United States against the Islamic Republic that the UAE stops Iranian vessels from entering its ports.

After the Islamic Republic’s attacks on the United Arab Emirates began, officials of this country had banned the entry of Iranian ships and dhows. After the establishment of a ceasefire on 26 Khordad, this restriction was lifted, and the movement of Iranian vessels to some of the UAE ports and marinas resumed.
