🔺 U.S. Treasury Secretary: The Islamic Republic will enter the «final phase»

Scott Bessent, the U.S. Treasury Secretary, said that the country is entering a new and unprecedented phase of economic pressure:

“Now we are entering the final stage. With sunrise, a ‘Day of Economic Deprivation’ will begin; the largest financial assault that has ever been organized against an enemy.”

Bessent says the Trump administration’s actions have severely weakened the military and nuclear capabilities of the Islamic Republic, and that sanctions pressure has also pushed the government’s economy to the brink of crisis.

He stressed: “The moment has come to respond with all our might and determination.”
