The U.S. Treasury Department has imposed sanctions on six companies and individuals in China, India, Russia and Iran, for supporting Mahan Air, which Washington says acts as a key logistics arm for Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and moves personnel, weapons, military equipment, and materials related to drones.

One of the sanctioned entities is the startup company DadeNegar, which the Treasury Department has described as a front company owned by the IRGC. The company collected information about the locations of American and Israeli equipment and received requests for attacks on U.S. targets in the Middle East in order to support Iran’s military targeting.
