The U.S. Southern Command, Southcom, said on Saturday, 18 Mehr, that U.S. military forces, in cooperation with Panamanian authorities, are transporting essential items to the affected areas and hospitals by helicopter.

According to the command, as part of the same effort, U.S. forces loaded 3,000 packs of water for dispatch to areas affected by the earthquake in Panama. The U.S. Department of War also supports earthquake relief operations for Panama’s earthquake victims led by the U.S. State Department.
