🔻 U.S. President Donald Trump expressed his dissatisfaction with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ahead of their meeting.

In criticizing the publicization of the main points of his discussions with Netanyahu, including about the Mount Kleng nuclear facilities, Trump said:

“I don’t need Bibi [Netanyahu] to tell me this. Bibi tells me this because he wants me to stay involved. Why doesn’t he just tell this to me? Why does he tell the whole world?”

Yesterday, the New York Post, citing a source in Netanyahu’s office in Jerusalem, wrote that the Israeli prime minister would provide Donald Trump with information showing that Iran is lying when it says it is seeking peace and is in the process of completing the Mount Kleng nuclear facilities near the Natanz facilities.

Netanyahu’s office has not yet responded to Trump’s remarks.

Before his trip, Netanyahu denied that he was carrying any new information for Trump and said that cooperation between the two countries’ intelligence services is closer than that which would require such a thing.
