Two sources close to President Pezeshkian’s administration told IranWire that Mojtaba Khamenei has not met with any member of the cabinet since the time of the U.S. attack on the Leadership compound and his father’s death, as well as the deaths of other members of his family—that is, until 9 Esfand 1404.

According to both sources, the rumor that he is in very poor health and that his death could occur at any time is being heard very strongly within the upper echelons of the system.
