🔻Turkish media Halk TV reported that Burhan Can Terzi, a journalist from Turkey, was detained by Istanbul police, upon an order from the Chief Public Prosecutor’s Office of Bakırköy, to give an explanation, following the publication of an untrue report about the joining of Jamal Musiala, the Bayern Munich superstar, to Galatasaray.

🔹After publishing a report about the move of the German midfielder to Galatasaray—which was denied by this club—the Turkish journalist stood by his claim. Despite the absence of a complaint from the Turkish club, a group of football fans in Turkey filed a complaint against him for putting forward misleading allegations.

🔹In the end, Istanbul police detained the journalist yesterday.
