Donald Trump said: “What is currently driving up gas prices is no longer the Strait of Hormuz, because almost every day an unprecedented volume of oil passes through this strait.”

He added: “The main problem is refineries; Russia’s refineries are targeted by Ukraine, and our refineries in Democratic states, such as California, are also shut down.”
