Therefore, today I announce that we are starting the most crushing economic operation ever carried out against any country! This will be an economic war and an unprecedented isolation.

Their navy is gone, their air force has been destroyed, their military factories have been turned into ruins, the value of their currency has been wiped out, and their country has become like a piece of twine.

Today, I also announce that any country that allows its financial institutions, companies, airports, or government entities to provide any kind of assistance or lifeline to Iran will face very heavy economic consequences itself.

Oil smuggling, financial exchange lines, cash transfers, money changers, registering ships and shell companies—these must all be stopped right now. You know yourselves who you are.

This will be an economic D-Day, and we ask all our allies to stand with the United States in order to isolate and defeat the threat from Iran.

These crazy people are on the verge of defeat, and these historic actions will cripple them and their ability to spread terrorism across the world.
