Trump on Friday at the White House, emphasizing that the Islamic Republic will never have nuclear weapons, said that the war would “end soon” and that the people of America are paying extra costs to prevent the Iranian government from obtaining nuclear weapons.
Trump told reporters that with the end of the current situation with the Islamic Republic, the price of gasoline would return to pre-war levels and probably even lower.
He, emphasizing the economic successes of his administration before the Iran war, said: “We also have something that I’m very proud of. The Islamic Republic will not have nuclear weapons. Now for this, people have to pay a little extra cost.”
Trump added: “I think if most people had the right to choose between lower gas prices or allowing Iran to have nuclear weapons, I’d be willing to bet that the outcome of the voting would be determined with a very large margin that people do not want Iran to have nuclear weapons.”
