🔶 Trump blamed violence in France protests on immigrants
Donald Trump, the president of the United States, claimed that immigration is the cause of protests in France. He urged the government of that country to close its borders and take control of immigration. The remarks were made after protests across France were dragged into violence over the cost of living and the state of public services.
On Sunday, October 18 (26 Mehr), Trump wrote in a message on the social network Truth Social: “France is burning! Immigration by people from a completely different world—people with hatred in their hearts—has broken apart that country that was once great.”
He went on to write: “Close your borders and take control of the situation before it’s too late!”
In recent weeks, France has seen demonstrations by students against the shortage of teachers, the deterioration of schools, and problems in the education system. These protests have now been linked with protests against rising costs of living, higher fuel and food prices, reduced public services, and social inequality.
