🔶 Trump after Iran’s missile attack: We will hit them hard

Following the announcement by the United States that it tracked the ballistic missiles launched by Iran, the country’s president threatened that we will “tear the Islamic Republic’s day apart” and that we will severely “crush” Iran’s forces.

Donald Trump, in a phone interview with Fox News, said: “We will hit them hard and they will be severely punished.”

Trump called Iran’s attack on American forces in Jordan “surprising”; an attack in which, according to The Times of Israel, the opposing forces had only a few minutes to intercept the incoming missiles.

Trump described Iran-backed militia groups as “a cancer for the world,” and, referring to joint attacks by the United States and Saudi Arabia against these groups in Iraq, said that these attacks were carried out with coordination with the Iraqi government.

However, the U.S. president stated that he will allow his negotiators to continue negotiations with Iran.
