The Wall Street Journal reported on Friday, citing U.S. officials, that the drone carrying explosive materials found this week at an airport in Germany is likely owned by the Russian government.

The drone was seen on Tuesday evening on the grounds of the Leipzig/Halle Airport runway in eastern Germany, in a protected area and near a Ukrainian cargo aircraft.
