According to a report by Israel’s Channel, Boyd Kooper, commander of the United States Central Command (CENTCOM) headquarters, was in Israel on Saturday, August 8 (17 Mordad), where he met with Eyal Zamir, the chief of staff of the Israeli army, and other senior military officials of this country.

The report adds that Kooper, who had entered Israel from Bahrain, after these meetings departed for the United States. The Israeli army and CENTCOM had made no comment on this matter as of the time this news was being prepared.

The news is being released at a time when Israeli media reported on Saturday that Israel is preparing for the possibility of carrying out unilateral attacks against Iran.

According to Israel’s Channel 13, Tel Aviv is still keeping the option of carrying out attacks on Iran without the participation of the United States on the table, so that it can act if the war between the United States and the Islamic Republic ends.
