😀 The United States puts new anti-drone munitions into service

Drone Round has developed a type of 5.56-millimeter anti-drone munition for U.S. Marine forces that splits into multiple smaller sub-projectiles after firing, significantly increasing the likelihood of hitting small drones and FPV.

The munition can be used without the need to make changes to standard M4 and M27 weapons, and is planned to be used as the infantry forces’ last line of defense to counter the escalating drone threat.
