The UAE Ministry of Defense, in a statement published on the X social network, announced the meeting between Hamid Mohammed Al Rumeithi, the commander of the country’s naval force, and Admiral Kurt Renshaw, the commander of the naval forces of the United States Central Command.

In the meeting, held on Wednesday, 22 Mehr, in Abu Dhabi, the two sides discussed and exchanged views on a number of topics of mutual interest.

The commanders of the UAE and U.S. naval forces also reviewed ways to strengthen cooperation and military coordination in maritime fields and to exchange experiences, with the aim of ensuring the two countries’ shared interests.
