He described the situation of the armed forces of the Islamic Republic as follows: “Their navy is gone, their army is gone, their air force is completely destroyed.”

The president of the United States announced the number of sunk naval vessels as 159 in three days, and the number of destroyed aircraft as 289. The accuracy of these figures has not been independently verified.
