The number of vessels monitored in the Strait of Hormuz fell to eight ships on Tuesday, the lowest figure in the past week. Based on data from Kepler, this number is about 12 vessels below the ten-day average. LSEG data also shows 11 transits for the same day.

Before the Islamic Republic closed this waterway on 9 Esfand, typically 130 to 140 vessels passed through it. On the same day, 30 vessels passed through the Bab al-Mandab Strait, which is 25 more than the ten-day average.
