The New York Post reported that public anger in Iran over the execution of protesters, the economic crisis, and the continuation of the war have brought conditions to a point where a fresh wave of protests could begin at any moment.

Hosein Ghazeyyan, a sociologist, told Iran International that the factors behind public dissatisfaction are still in place and it does not seem that the authorities fundamentally have a plan for such a compromise with the people, and that at any moment the possibility of street protests could arise.
