The main OPEC+ countries have, in effect, agreed to keep their oil production quotas unchanged next month.

According to Bloomberg, citing representatives of the group, a seven-country sub-group led by Saudi Arabia and Russia is expected to keep the quotas steady in November.

Based on the same report, the agreement will be finalized in a video meeting on Sunday.

The plan is being carried out while the war in the Middle East continues to take parts of the group’s production offline.

Futures contract prices for oil are approaching the $100 per barrel mark, and the price of diesel at fuel stations has reached a record. This has prompted the G7 countries to release emergency reserves.
