The Israeli army, in a statement, said it targeted the commander of the sniper team of the Nuseirat Battalion, as well as the commander of a platoon in the military branch of the “terrorist organization Hamas.”

The announcement stated that the first operation was carried out on Monday, the 5th of Mordad, in southern Gaza Strip, during which Ahmad Hasham Mahmoud اللوح, the commander of the sniper team of the Nuseirat Battalion, was killed.

According to the Israeli army, Ahmad Hasham was the last commander of the sniper team of the Nuseirat Battalion who was still active in that position.

The second operation was also carried out on the same day in northern Gaza Strip, during which Mahmoud Ali Mahmoud Turosh, the commander of a platoon in the military branch of the terrorist organization Hamas, was killed.

According to the Israeli army, Mahmoud Turosh had infiltrated Israeli territory in the “October 7 massacre.”
