🔸Earlier, the Axios website, citing U.S. government officials, had written that in a new round of attacks on Iran, the U.S. army for the first time used a long-range “B-1” bomber to attack targets belonging to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps on Tuesday.

🔸Axios wrote that the bomber used in this attack had taken off from an airbase in Britain. The reference by the news site is to RAF Fairford in the southwest of England, where 18 U.S. B-1 bombers are currently being kept.

🔸Now, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, in a message, wrote: “Any base used to attack Iranian territory is a legitimate target for us.”

🔸In its message, the IRGC claimed that after the resumption of attacks, the United States had initially attacked Iran from its aircraft carriers in the Indian Ocean using cruise missiles, but after the missile stores on those ships were depleted, it turned to using its bombers in Britain.
