🔸 The Islamic Republic’s state broadcaster and Fars News Agency, close to the IRGC, in separate reports, called for follow-up on the previous positions and judicial cases of a number of artists who have recently returned to Iran.

🔸 In a televised report aired on Thursday night, the state broadcaster, referring to Fatemeh Motamed-Arya, Asghar Farhadi, and Mohsen Namjoo, expressed concern about what it called “normalizing anti-national actions” and called for “the implementation of justice.”

🔸 The report, while showing images of government-led night gatherings, said that “no one who insists on anti-national positions and does not express regret for a national error” should be cleared.

🔸 In this report, the state broadcaster also referenced Fatemeh Motamed-Arya and Asghar Farhadi’s support for the “Woman, Life, Freedom” protests, as well as Mohsen Namjoo’s case for charges of “insulting sacred matters.”

🔸 Fars News Agency, close to the IRGC, also in a separate report about Fatemeh Motamed-Arya’s return, called on the judiciary to provide clarification regarding the previous judicial cases of this actress and, at the same time, criticized Mrs. Motamed-Arya’s political positions outside Iran.
