The Islamic Republic’s judiciary has issued heavy sentences in cases filed against the protesters of Dey in Isfahan. According to reports, charges including “inciting people to war and slaughter,” “disrupting the country’s security,” “assembly and conspiracy against the country’s security,” and “insulting Islamic sanctities” have been raised in these cases.

Jamasid Barzegar, a political analyst and journalist, in an interview with Iran International, described executions in the Islamic Republic as “criminal killing” and said that just as this regime has emptied republicanism and the ballot box of their content, it has also emptied the judiciary of its real function.
