. 🔸The commander of U.S. forces stationed in the Middle East, CENTCOM, once again emphasized that “the United States and its regional allies control the Strait of Hormuz, not Iran.”
🔸Admiral Bradley Cooper, in a video message published by CENTCOM’s account on the X network, says that within just the past week, 400 commercial ships have passed through the Strait of Hormuz with the help of U.S. forces.
🔸According to the CENTCOM commander, during the same period, other countries in the Persian Gulf region were able to move 100 million barrels of crude oil through this vital waterway and export it.
🔸Bradley Cooper stressed that in recent months, 1,300 million barrels of oil have passed through the Strait of Hormuz and reached global markets; while Iran, over the past more than one week, “has not been able to export or import even a single barrel of oil.”
🔸This comes while Iranian officials claim that in recent days, they have exported more than 5 million barrels of oil.
🔸The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps has repeatedly claimed full control over passage and navigation in the Strait of Hormuz.
