The Central Disciplinary Board of the Ministry of Science approved the expulsion order for Reza Dalman, a student at Sharif University of Technology. An informed source at this university said that the order will be issued soon.

This approval is the final stage of a case that has been underway since Khordad. The disciplinary board of Sharif University had previously sentenced Dalman to expulsion and a four-year ban from studying at all universities across the country.

Dalman, a 24-year-old master’s student in computer engineering, was detained on the night of New Year 1405, and on the charge of hanging a mouse doll from a tree in the campus of Sharif University.

He was detained by security forces on 28 Esfand 1404 and was released about a month later after posting bail. He was accused of “disrupting public order,” “damaging public property,” and “abusive and insulting conduct toward the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution.”
