🔶 Tehran Prosecutor’s Office announces the seizure of assets of 394 people described as “opponents”

Ali Salahi, Tehran’s prosecutor, said on Tuesday, September 22 (31 Shahrivar) that the “bank accounts and vehicles belonging to 394 people” accused of “cooperation with a hostile enemy” have been identified and ordered seized by the prosecutor’s office.

These allegations regarding these individuals’ “cooperation with the enemy” were raised in connection with the course of the attacks by the United States and Israel, as well as during popular protests. Salahi did not provide further details about these cases or the identities of these individuals.

Since the protests in Dey 1404 and their crackdown, the Judiciary of the Islamic Republic has seized the assets of hundreds of Iranian citizens living both inside and outside the country on charges of “cooperation with the enemy.”
