Tجارت News, in publishing a report, announced that the country's needs in the residential sector, industries, power plants, and injecting gas into oil reservoirs total about 1,450 million cubic meters of gas per day, while injected gas into the gas network has reached about 610 million cubic meters per day.
The domestic media outlet said that Iran is currently facing a shortfall of 840 million cubic meters of gas per day.
The above report cites statements by Mohammad Jafar Qaempanah, the executive deputy of Pezeshkian, saying that about 230 million cubic meters has been removed from the country's gas production capacity due to the war, and it adds that currently gas injection into the network, from up to 840 million cubic meters per day, has fallen to about 610 million cubic meters per day.
