🔶 Syria Announces Arrest of Members of a Secret Hezbollah Cell

The Syrian Internal Security Organization announced that it had detained a three-member cell affiliated with Lebanon’s Hezbollah, which, according to the organization, was planning to carry out sabotage operations in southern Syria.

Based on a statement released on Tuesday, 7 Mehr (29 September) on the social network “X,” members of this cell intended to carry out sabotage acts in the Yarmouk Basin area in Daraa province.

The Syrian Internal Security Organization says it carried out a preventive operation to counter this plan.

According to Syria’s internal security forces, the members of this cell were also trying to prepare several missile launch platforms, which were discovered during the operation and completely dismantled.

Hezbollah Lebanon has not yet responded to this report.
