🔺State of emergency declared in British Columbia; more than 20,000 people have fled from the wildfires
▪Officials in the Canadian province of British Columbia in the west of the country declared a state of emergency on Saturday, 17 Mordad, following the rapid spread of wildfires. So far, this crisis has forced more than 20,000 people to leave their homes and has put hundreds of firefighters across the province to respond to more than 100 fires.
