🔻Some U.S. embassies in West Asia, by issuing immediate security alerts, asked their citizens to follow security instructions and said there is a possibility that flights in the region could be canceled.

The U.S. embassies in several countries in West Asia, hours earlier, issued these immediate security warnings and asked their citizens to stay alert and exercise greater caution as tensions continue in the Middle East.

The U.S. Embassy in Baghdad, in particular, pointed to recent clashes between the Houthis and Saudi Arabia, including “attacks on non-civilian airports,” and warned that the fighting could escalate quickly.

The U.S. State Department also said in a separate warning that there is a possibility of escalation in the conflict between Saudi Arabia and Yemen’s Houthis.
