🔸 The Sistan and Baluchestan Police Information Center announced the killing of an officer of the Law Enforcement Force during a “gun attack on a checkpoint and inspection post” in Rask County.
🔸 In a statement by this center, published on Thursday, Mehr 9, the identity of the officer was announced as “First Sergeant Alireza Sancholi.”
🔸 The officer was killed while the security and police deputy of the governor of Sistan and Baluchestan says that the armed attack on the entry checkpoint of the city of Rask was “repelled.”
🔸 Ali Khalilabadi, early Thursday, told IRNA that “a few hours ago, the terrorist agents of the enemy carried out gunfire from the direction of the river toward the Ahmadabad checkpoint in the city of Rask,” which “as a result of the reciprocal action of security forces, the attackers were forced to retreat and the shootings stopped.”
🔸 Without referring to the killing of Sergeant Sancholi, the security and police deputy of the governor of Sistan and Baluchestan added that “in this incident, no damage or special event occurred, and the support forces, in full readiness, are currently monitoring the area and tracking security conditions.”
