🔶 Shipping data: Three cargo ships passed through the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday

Reuters, based on a review of preliminary shipping data published on Wednesday, September 23 (October 1), reported that on Tuesday, three cargo ships crossed the Strait of Hormuz.

According to the report, this figure shows a decrease compared with the four ships that had crossed the Strait of Hormuz the day before. At the same time, statistics indicate that over the past 10 days, an average of 15 cargo ships per day have transited through the Strait of Hormuz.

Reuters also noted in its report that these figures may change, as some ships usually turn off their transmitters while transiting through the area.

Earlier, Kepler company tracking data had shown that traffic across the Strait of Hormuz remains low, and that over the weekend—on Saturday and Sunday combined—around 12 cargo ships carrying goods crossed this waterway.
