🔶 Shahram Sadeghi, one of the protesters of Dey 1404, was executed

Mizan News Agency, affiliated with the Judiciary of the Islamic Republic, reported the execution of the sentence of Shahram Sadeghi, another of the protesters of Dey 1404.

In its report, Mizan claims that on 18 Dey of last year, “near Golzar Square in Karaj, Sadeghi with a Pride car ran over the government officers of the Special Units of the Alborz Province.”

According to this report, the incident led to “severe injuries to seven FARAJA officers in the head, legs, hands, and eyes.”

As written by Mizan, Shahram Sadeghi rejected these charges and said that that night he “had intended to travel from Islamshahr, Tehran to his home in Kardan, Savojbolagh, and on the way, with the intention of visiting a restaurant (tabakh i.e., grilled dishes) located at Golzar Square, he entered the city of Karaj, and his vehicle was stolen.”

The Revolutionary Court of Karaj, with reference to the charges under the subject matter of Article One of the so-called “Law on Intensifying Punishments for Espionage and Cooperation with Israel and Hostile Countries against Security and National Interests,” sentenced Shahram Sadeghi to execution and the total confiscation of all property.
