🔶Secret meeting of senior Trump administration officials at Camp David about the Iran war and Yemen

Axios reported that senior members of Donald Trump’s cabinet met secretly at Camp David to discuss next steps in the war involving Iran and the fighting between Saudi Arabia and the Houthis in Yemen.

The news outlet, citing people familiar with the matter, reported that JD Vance, the U.S. vice president, chaired the meeting.

On September 30 (8 Mehr), in response to a question about the possibility of an agreement with the Islamic Republic, Donald Trump had said: “Maybe we’ll blow them up.”

He had also said, while stating that the United States should decide between attacking and reaching an agreement with Tehran, “The time is coming.”

Trump also said, without providing further explanation about what he meant by a possible action against Iran, that this situation would end “very soon.”
