🔻Scott Bessent, the U.S. Treasury Secretary, said that from tomorrow, the world’s skies will be closed to all Iranian airlines.

The U.S. Treasury Department, nearly two weeks ago, added 27 Iranian airlines to the sanctions list.

Mr. Bessent said he does not know how long the conflict with Iran will last, but said he has spoken about Iran sanctions with China.

China’s president will travel to the United States in two days and will discuss various issues with Donald Trump, including the Iran sanctions.

Mr. Bessent had previously said that, in talks with Wang Yi, China’s vice premier, he is laying the groundwork for discussions between the two presidents about Iran sanctions.
