Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Ministry announced that Faisal bin Farhan, the country’s foreign minister, held a phone conversation with his Japanese counterpart.

During the call, Toshimitsu Motegi strongly condemned the “terrorist attacks by Houthi militias” against Saudi Arabia, including repeated attacks on airports and the country’s civilian facilities.

The two sides also discussed bilateral cooperation between Saudi Arabia and Japan, the latest regional and international developments, and ways to strengthen coordination and cooperation to ensure energy security and protect freedom and safety of navigation in regional and international waterways.
