Saudi Arabia carried out 129 airstrikes on areas that have recently come under the control of the Houthis.
According to a report by Al Jazeera, the attacks have mainly targeted the Houthi military advances.
The targeted areas include northern areas where the Houthis are trying to push toward the city of Marib, the headquarters of Yemen’s official government.
The Houthis have not retreated much, and there is no face-to-face fighting underway. Even artillery shelling is not being carried out, because Yemen’s government forces have retreated from the areas of the ports of Mokha and Bab al-Mandab, and no forces have remained near the area.
