Russian oil shipments to India reached approximately 2 mln barrels per day (bpd) in October, Press Trust of India reported citing data from the analytics firm Kpler.

The data shows that imports of Russian hydrocarbons, combined with a total of 2.3 mln barrels per day from Middle Eastern countries, enabled Indian oil companies to increase their daily overseas crude purchases to a record 5.6 mln barrels last month.
