Russia warned Britain on Tuesday that it would face consequences for supplying drones used to carry out attacks on targets in Russian territory.

The Russian embassy in London issued the warning in response to a report by The Sunday Times, which said that drones made in Britain were used for the first time in long-range attacks against Russia.

The Russian embassy accused Britain of “seeking to contain Russia and inflict the maximum damage on it through proxies,” adding: “London’s actions will inevitably have consequences for which it must be held accountable.”

At the end of the statement, it said: “The deeper its involvement in this war and the more support it provides to Kyiv, the higher the price it will pay.”
