🔺Rubio: As long as Trump is in office, Iran will not have nuclear weapons

▪The U.S. foreign minister said the Islamic Republic will not obtain nuclear weapons as long as Donald Trump is president of the United States, and that this is Washington’s “clear line.”

▪According to Marco Rubio, the economy of the Islamic Republic is “in complete free fall” and “on the verge of reaching a place that only a few countries in the world have experienced.”

▪Speaking in Athens, Marco Rubio said: “They will never have nuclear weapons, period. Not while President Trump is in power.”

▪Rubio evaded a direct answer to a question about accepting higher enrichment than zero, but he said: “I don’t understand where this confusion about the nuclear program comes from. Iran cannot have nuclear weapons—simple, period, end of the story.”
