Rouhollah Rezaipour, journalist and political analyst, by referring to a written message from Mojtaba Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Republic, about the need to preserve “social cohesion,” said that the repeated emphasis by government officials on unity and cohesion indicates the lack of it and the existence of plurality within the structure of power.

He said that Masoud Pezeshkian, the head of the government of the Islamic Republic, made remarks about economic problems only a few hours after the publication of this message, showing that discord and lack of cohesion exist even at the top of power.

Rezaipour added that the main audience of Mojtaba Khamenei’s message is the Pezeshkian government, and restricting the possibility of raising problems and making criticisms is a sign of the formation of a “Mojtaba-style dictatorship.”
