Rezaollah Rahimpour, a journalist and political analyst, referring to a written message by Mojtaba Khamenei, the leader of the Islamic Republic, about the need to preserve “social cohesion,” said that the repeated emphasis by government officials on unity and cohesion indicates a lack of them and the presence of fragmentation in the structure of power.

He said that Masoud Pezeshkian’s statements, head of the government of the Islamic Republic, about economic problems only a few hours after the publication of this message showed that disagreement and the absence of cohesion exist even at the top of power.

Rahimpour added that the main audience of Mojtaba Khamenei’s message is Pezeshkian’s government, and limiting the ability to express problems and criticism is a sign of the formation of “Mojtaba-style dictatorship.”
