On Farvardin 13, he returned from Malayer to Karaj, and only one day later—when he had opened his repair shop—he was arrested in a sudden raid by Islamic Republic forces. The arrest took place in the sight of other shopkeepers and tradespeople in the area.

The Islamic Republic’s judicial system has sentenced him to death on implausible and fabricated charges, and now his family—under extremely critical and fragile conditions—has only 12 days to protest this disastrous ruling.
