🔶Reuters: The US has used a large portion of its long-range precision-guided missiles in the war with Iran

According to a report by Reuters, the U.S. Army, in the five-month war against Iran, has used “almost all” of its available stockpiles of long-range ground-based precision-guided missiles; a development that has increased concerns among military officials about the United States’ ability to respond in future clashes.

These missiles are considered an important part of the United States’ arsenal because they enable accurate strikes from long distances.

Analysts warn that reducing stockpiles of these missiles could undermine America’s deterrence capability against countries such as China.

According to Reuters, U.S. Central Command (CENTCOM), which is responsible for operations in the Middle East, has used nearly all of its ground missile stockpiles that it had at its disposal before the war began.

However, some of this shortage has been offset through the transfer of ammunition from other U.S. stockpiles.
