🔺Reuters: Ship-to-ship transfer has kept the Middle East oil flow alive

▪Reuters wrote that a new network of oil transfers between tankers off the coasts of Oman has kept Middle East oil exports afloat.

▪According to this news agency, tankers transport oil from Persian Gulf terminals to safer waters in the Gulf of Oman and transfer it there to larger tankers, then return to the Strait of Hormuz to load again.

▪Based on data from the company Kpler, exports via Hormuz since Shahrivar 10 have reached about 6.5 million barrels per day, the highest figure since the brief surge following the ceasefire in June. Nearly 40% of this volume—about 2.5 million barrels per day—is loaded through ship-to-ship transfer.
