🔶 Reuters: Iran has provided Hezbollah with $200 million

Reuters, citing two sources familiar with the matter, said Hezbollah has received $200 million from the Islamic Republic to “cover part of the costs of supporting Lebanese displaced people in this year’s war with Israel.”

According to the report, this is Hezbollah’s first major assistance to supporters who have suffered the most during this year’s war with Israel. The two sources, who said they have direct knowledge of the financial transfer, said the money reached Hezbollah last month.

A Hezbollah official, in response to a request for comment on the matter, said that “an amount has been provided, and the distribution plan for it will be announced in the coming days.”

He did not explain the source of the money. According to the two sources, intermediaries who handled the transfer received a 20% commission; a figure that indicates the high risk of conducting transactions with Hezbollah in the current circumstances. One of the sources said this commission was four times the usual rate.
