▪The escalation of attacks by Houthi forces supported by the Islamic Republic of Iran against Saudi Arabia and forces of the internationally recognized Yemeni government is another sign of the widening of regional conflict; conflict that is now increasingly affecting the security of maritime routes and energy infrastructure in the Red Sea.
