Reuters said on Thursday, the 23rd of Mehr, that a joint meeting between the European Union and the member countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council, which was scheduled to be held on 2 Aban in Saudi Arabia, has been postponed.
The European Union has delayed the meeting, but has not announced a specific reason for the delay.
The meeting was intended to demonstrate European solidarity with the Gulf states and Saudi Arabia amid the war.
The decision was taken following recent attacks on Riyadh’s international airport—attacks for which the Iran-aligned Houthis in Yemen claimed responsibility.
In these attacks, 13 people were killed and hundreds were injured, and the airport remains closed.
